The Board of Trustees determines the major policy directions of the Foundation and ensures sound management. Its chairman is Henri Proglio and its Vice-President is Raymond-Max Aubert. Its other members are personalities from both inside and outside the company, chosen for their particular merits and their interest in the Foundation's work.
The Selection Committee brings together Veolia Environnement employees with a broad range of professional expertise (legal, financial, operational, etc.) that enables it to consider projects from all angles.
Its role is to examine and select projects eligible for a grant from the Foundation and decide on the amount of the grant allocated, which in the case of long-term projects may span several years. In addition, it is responsible for evaluating the projects supported with a view to drafting guidelines and fine-tuning future programs.
A permanent team is responsible for everyday preparation and monitoring of projects and relations with sponsors and project leaders.
