All the initiatives supported by the Foundation are sponsored by an active or retired Veolia Environnement employee.
Employees are invited to put forward projects but may also volunteer to take responsibility for a project not "adopted" by another employee.
Alongside the Foundation, they are responsible for preparing, monitoring and evaluating the project. Very often, their personal investment goes well beyond these three essential duties. Sharing know-how, advising on project implementation and feasibility and future developments or putting project leaders in touch with other possible financial backers: all these actions are a vital complement to the financial support granted by the Foundation.
