[ News listing ](/en/news " News listing") 08 Oct. 2026 With the launch of the Veoliaforce Asia-Pacific hub in Brisbane, Australia, the Veolia Foundation reaches a new milestone in decentralizing its humanitarian action. ### Enhanced Response Capability in the Face of Environmental and Climate Emergencies By combining the strategic pre-positioning of water treatment equipment with specialized volunteer training, this new operational node enables rapid and tailored responses to humanitarian crises and natural disasters across the entire region. With the launch of the **Veoliaforce Asia-Pacific hub in Brisbane, Australia**, the Veolia Foundation reaches a new milestone in decentralizing its humanitarian action. During an intensive week, 27 employee volunteers from several countries in the APAC region (primarily from Australia and New Zealand) gathered in Brisbane to undergo Veoliaforce training and earn their certification. They were prepared to intervene in extreme scenarios to restore access to drinking water and essential services. ### A Model Built on Proximity and Local Expertise This hub draws on one of the Veolia Group's greatest strengths: the technical know-how of its workforce.
