Since the end of 2022, Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh have been in a particularly difficult situation. A blockade prevents the import of food, fuel and medicines to the region. And the closure of the Latchine corridor, the only road linking Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia, limits the action of international organizations. The Aznavour Foundation focuses its aid on populations displaced by the conflict. Discussions with the various Armenian government infrastructures and NGOs present in the area have identified a pressing need: the provision of food for children and hygiene products for the youngest. With the support of the Veolia Foundation, it is financing the purchase, packaging and shipment of family packs focused on these urgent needs.
