Veoliaforce volunteers lend a hand on the emergency logistics platform

On 20-22 November, some 15 volunteers from the Paris Region lent a helping hand to the Foundation’s team at our Massy warehouse to pack equipment for future emergency relief work.

Hélène, David, Sylvie, Vincent, Ronan, Benoît, Emilie…some 16 Paris Region volunteers responded to the appeal made by the Foundation’s emergency relief team. Over three days, they worked at the Massy emergency logistics platform, packing equipment for the Foundation’s future emergency relief work. The equipment included Aquaforce 500s, Aquaforce 5000s, line connections, distribution manifolds and tanks.

The platform was in great demand in October of this year as a result of the emergency relief work done in the French West Indies in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. The team of volunteers came together on 20-22 November to reorganize the resources so that they are ready for future swift departures to provide emergency help.
