The Veolia Foundation supports general interest and nonprofit projects in France and internationally. It focuses on humanitarian emergencies and development aid, support for employment and social ties, and environmental and biodiversity protection. Its three main tools are skills sponsorship, financial support, and developing specialized equipment. It relies extensively on the involvement of Veolia Group employees who sponsor supported projects and work as Veoliaforce volunteers. They can then share their professional expertise with the Foundation and its partners during their working hours.
Since its creation in 2004, the Foundation has supported over 1,500 projects and carried out more than 300 skills‑based volunteering missions.
