Project Leader
Hatyai Hospital
A major provincial public hospital founded in June 1959 in the Hat Yai district (Songkhla province), this institution is an essential referral facility for the southern region of the country. At the end of 2025, violent and devastating floods severely impacted its infrastructure and disabled numerous pieces of critical care equipment, threatening the continuity of hospital services for local populations.
Emergency Repair of Medical Equipment
The project consists of providing emergency funding to carry out rehabilitation, maintenance, and repair work on heavy medical equipment as well as directly affected structures. This intervention will restore access to healthcare for approximately 800,000 residents. It relies on a remarkable synergy: an internal fundraising campaign by Veolia employees in Thailand, complemented by a financial grant from the Veolia Foundation to accelerate the full resumption of hospital activities.
