"I have been a first-aid worker since 1982. In addition to my job at Onyx, I have therefore taken many training courses to become an associative first-aid worker. I consider this role indispensable."
Yves Chantier

Protection civile, active in more than 90 French départements via 480 branches, is an indispensable presence on the national scene. Its attributions extend from emergency missions to humanitarian aid and include training. Its teams help populations in distress wherever they are, victims of accidents or natural catastrophes. The Samu (ambulance) and Fire Department also rely on them regularly for their network of volunteers: first aid workers, doctors, nurses, technicians, etc. In the Aube, the association is particularly active via the branch of Saint-Parres-aux-Tertres. With its fifteen volunteers, this local relay participates in the first-aid arrangements set up for each event. Today, its transport vehicle needs to be replaced. By granting 32 000 euros, the fondation Veolia will help renew this equipment that is indispensable for effective emergency aid.
