The 2020 winners

On September 25, 2020, Estelle Brachlianoff, Chief Operating Officer of Veolia, awarded the 2020 Student Solidarity Awards to the three winners.

At the Group's headquarters in Aubervilliers, Veolia's Chief Operating Officer, Estelle Brachlianoff, has presented prizes to the 3 winners selected from more than 150 applications. Nearly a quarter of the projects came from abroad and eleven were selected for presentation to the jury. The three distinguished associations received a financial endowment to help them carry out their project.

  • "Ficha", created by students from the Grenoble School of Management:

Ficha students have designed an innovative device (connected container, smartphone application...) to promote and reward selective waste sorting where it is least respected: in collective housing.

  • "Tizwit", created by students from Essec

In the Ouarzazate region of southern Morocco, accessing employment and moving out of the informal sector is still too often a challenge. Follow'Her intends to support the most vulnerable populations by offering structured support for entrepreneurship.

  • "Une bibliothèque pour Vo Koutime", created by students from University of Paris-Dauphine

In the rural village of Vo Koutime, in the south of Togo, the Go To Togo association has already built a secondary school, which will soon be joined by a library to combat illiteracy. This is a long-term project by an association that has already demonstrated its determination.
